Account/ Item Responsibility
SCAMMING
Typical Trade Scam
DO NOT press the "OK" button unless you are 100 percent positive that you are ready to give your in-game gold or items. Also make sure to verify that each item is the one you truly want before you press the "OK" button. A player may try to sell you something of a lower value or another item that you do not need. Fraud perpetrators offer an item at a price much lower than market value. They upload an authentic item to the trading window, and then suddenly cancel the transaction. They will do this several times, changing the conditions of the deal, then "cancel" the transaction again for one reason or another.
Fraud perpetrators do this to make the potential fraud victim impatient to conclude the transaction. At the last moment the perpetrators deliberately load the incorrect item. For trades with in-game gold, you need to count all the digits to make sure it is the correct value.
Can I report a scamming incident? If yes, how?
A lot of scamming cases have been presented to the Support Team and we are already considering cases of this nature. Players who have been scammed should immediately file a HelpDesk report
using their own account and
submit their screenshots showing the actual trade and the conversation with the scammer showing the conditions of the trade.
Only scamming cases with supporting documents / proof will be processed and investigated by the Support Team.
Scamming reports will only be considered once per account. It is expected that you will learn from this incident and be more careful with your future trades and thus avoid being scammed again.
Will I get my items back if I were scammed?
After proper investigation has been conducted by the Support Team and the scamming case was found to be valid, the Support Team will return the premium items and up to 1 million mint that was scammed from you. We would like to emphasize that this is a one-time offer only. Subsequent scamming incidents from the same account will no longer be entertained.
What happens to the perpetrator / scammer?
If found guilty of a scamming incident, offending players will be given disciplinary actions (refer to table below) plus deletion of ALL items and/or mint acquired from the scam.
