Code of Conduct

THE FOLLOWING ARE THE BASIC RULES OF CONDUCT THAT GOVERN PLAYER INTERACTION AND ACTIVITIES WITHIN OVERSOUL ONLINE AND IN THE OFFICIAL OVERSOUL ONLINE FORUMS. FAILURE TO ACT RESPONSIBLY AND TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES WITHIN OVERSOUL ONLINE AND IN THE OFFICIAL OVERSOUL ONLINE FORUMS MAY RESULT IN ACTION BEING TAKEN AGAINST YOUR ACCOUNT, WHICH MAY INCLUDE TERMINATION OF YOUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT ANY REFUND OF ANY KIND.

Decency:
Mutual respect for all people is paramount, whether they are players (newbies or veterans), Game Moderators, Z-Zone staff and management. Even parties who have violated rules and policies of the game deserve this, but they will still be subject to any sanctions and punishments for their actions.

Security:
Your account is ultimately your responsibility. Keep your passwords to yourself. Z-Zone will not recognize "pilot" or "fleshbot" characters, and always hold the owner of the account responsible, save for cases of account theft (hacked accounts). Never log onto any PC or play at an internet cafe before having it checked for any malicious spyware, such as keyloggers. Intentional use of third party game hacking programs, trainers, and modified game clients are also forbidden.

Identity:
Never introduce or claim yourself to be someone whom you're not. This applies especially to any attempts at faking or impersonating Game Moderators, Z-Zone staff, and people in positions of power and authority (guild leaders, celebrities, politicians, etc.). Be true to yourself, and others.

Familiarity:
Read our User Agreement, Policies, Account Penalties, and Code of Conduct. Observe these rules, and check on our website for any updates to these periodically. Events, promos, and other announcements will also be found on our website, so that is another reason to check often. Read the in-game broadcasts as well.
